Comments by "M Shastri" (@libshastra) on "Why big return of the radical Mann in Punjab’s Sangrur bypoll upends Sikh politics u0026 alarms Delhi" video.
"Our thinking has become very Delhi centric or Lutyens centric." It has always been Lutyens denominated. National media is an echo chamber. Even the political crisis in Maharashtra is seen through the eyes of Lutyens and all kinds of nonsense is justified as protecting democratic values because Lutyens echo chambers want to one up each other. I mean, where is the maturity? Where is discussions about collapsing governance/rule of law/abuses of State govts? All abuses of the Central Govt are way more pronounced at the State level, yet somehow because a State is against the Center - sab changa hai, ignore kar sakte hai.

@Kingzombiemyanmar ye aagaya aur kya Lutyens wala. Do you even understand the implications of that statement? Or is it that you want us to be harassed even more than right now? Tell me, if today I can get arrested for just making an oblique comment on a State politician, what makes you think more power to the States is the solution to rampant abuse of power?

@AyushPandey-tm9qr dude, BMC sends bulldozers to people's homes without notice acting on the whims of a local corporator. Complain about their property violation or conflict of powers (they own Malls etc) and you get the bulldozer sent to your place, your utilities are disconnect, you licenses are suddenly revoked and Police are harassing you where you go. So again, I will ask you the same question , what makes you think more power to the any local body is the solution to rampant abuse of power? Ye sab abuse of power kaun check karega hai (because right now, no one is stopping these abuses of power)? Have you thought about that question at all? Fukat mein advice koi bhi de sakta hai.

I think you mean Secession not succession. Besides it is a bypoll - most voters vote against the incumbent to send a message. This is definitely a message for both Centre and State.

@AyushPandey-tm9qr ummmmm ..... identity politics is even more pronounced in State Politics. Tu kausi duniya mein hai? City city competition is nonexistent. Dharti pe toh aajayo.
