  1. Right now. The judiciary is the most dysfunctional branch of Govt. Granular data is fine but there needs to be a serious reform in the culture of the Judiciary. It's insulting to see someone like Advocates like Prashant Bhusan treat the Supreme Court as a whimsical institution and their family asset (khandani ghar). We also have High Court judges who are supposed to uphold habeas corpus but rather declare that a constitutional body (ECI) should be charged for Murder and people should be hanged (for blocking Oxygen) without trial. This kind of unprofessional behaviour just casts more doubt on the Judiciary's ability to be a Guardian of Justice and Fundamental Rights. The day Judiciary walks the talk and comprehensively reforms itself will be the day India reaches it's greatness as a democracy, civilization and society.
