  1. I wish our political and judicial establishment understands the weight of what Jaishanker is preaching here. Our domestic politics is pretty toxic and prioritizes building feudal dynasties and satrap over building a resilient nation that can take responsibility for Global affairs. India's potential is held back really terrible unambitious politicians.

  2. Public finances are fine. Forex reserves that we have been saving have been pretty handy. Also Govt of India has a lot of under used assets. It's not an issue of finances, it's an issue of hamfisted and turfing administrative services and judicial overreach through PIL against purely commercial transactions.
