Wellington Review by the Stimson center presents some interesting insights which might be addressed by theatre commands. Mainly, it says that Indian armed forces don't have a good combined arms strategy and doesn't encourage Tri service integration. The brigade's exhibition seems to only put more evidence towards that finding. Air force and air assets is conspicuously missing, it's a display of the brigade's prowess but not it's ability to work with air assets to ensure a more certain favorable outcome.

@solarhoney that's an over exaggeration. Our corp commanders are pretty competent and are tactically pretty good and they know how to use the weapons and training provided to them properly (a la Galwan). Weapons don't matter as much as strategy. If weapons mattered then Taliban wouldn't have been able to conquer Afghanistan, so rapidly. Coming back to what I said, Wellington doesn't teach combined arms strategy and tactics. It goes beyond that as well, for good combined arms strategy, you need good protocols primarily radio protocols. The lack of air assets like Attack Helicopters or Chinooks (there could be a number of other reasons) shows that Corp level combined arms isn't a conscious strategy or part of the tactical toolbox.

@rophiamphu1669 weapons and weapon systems are force multipliers. They are not a replacement for tactics, protocols and strategy.
