Despite data, the perceptions of targeted killing and there's going to be ethnic cleansing still exist. Rather the targeted killing exasperates those perceptions. But here's the thing, we don't provide bullet proof working environments. The bank manager who was killed yesterday was sitting close to the door, with no barrier between him and the killer. These are some things the BJP govt can do to reduce targeted killing. At least start securing the workplaces against handguns. At least moves like this will definitely assuage those perceptions.
