  2. Environmentalists stalled the development of 5 STPs for the sake of trees. They filled several petitions to stall the construction of treatment plants. Now they stalled it again citing infectious diseases.   3. We don't divert industrial effluents in Sewage treatment plants. The ones are operating at full capacity and 5 more were supposed to be constructed. The construction is stayed by Delhi high court because environmentalists didn't want to sacrifice trees and let the river live a little. Our environmentalists are pretty penny wise pound foolish.
