Modi just listed what he aims to achieve in his third term. Even if he achieves 70% what he listed (Modi Govt finishes 65% of what they aim for), that'll be a good achievement on it's own. Lots of exciting stuff. Look forward to Modi 3.0 Meanwhile, sathiyo, I'm going to work hard and build the expertise Bharat needs by the time Modi is half way through his 3rd term. You too focus on that. Bharat needs us more than ever.

It is indeed ironic that Nehru implored reservations using the excuse of merit and inefficiency. Nehru built the worst aspects of IAS - the aspect that rewards shoddy work, dishonesty and inefficiencies.

@Gappasappa a good economy needs specialists and experts, folks who build systems, entrepreneurs and innovators. Modi cannot play all those roles and be everything. It's also incumbent on us to push ahead. This is our moment, this is Bharat's moment.

Anna do your best, we need to oust DMK from Tamizhagam. Evict EVR from the land of Perumal, Andals, Siddis and Arul nadu!

LOL. Clearly you were born after the 2000s. 90s India was much worse - we had real insurgencies - Punjab, TN (LTTE was actively trying to create a Tamil Nation in India not just Sri Lanka), Kashmir, NE was burning, Gujarat & Maharashtra was like 1946 Bengal (Peaceful community rioting in every city) and on top of that you had Ram Janmabhoomi. All that was happening while India was way poorer and every great power was hostile against us - US wanted to divide our country, they thought that would "solve the Indian problem". India will be fine even with INDI alliance guys fanning regional tensions.

Nehru's grandfather (Motilals father) was the Kotwal of Delhi. They were handsomely rewarded for their service by the British. Motilal Nehru was one of the first Indian Barrister who had the opportunity to study in the UK. They handed over centuries of court records, Treasury maps, intelligence, treaty records, hereditary trees to the British. The British used them effectively.

By the end of 2029, we should aim to be free from Congress and leftist politics - the real cancers of India.
