Baramati, Sharad Pawar's stronghold has a chance to become the next Amethi. Back in the 90s when Pawar was at his peak, he helped bring Manufacturing and Chemical producing businesses to come and establish factories in Baramati. He also promised he would make Baramati the next Chakan (Huge Auto manufacturing hub in Pune), Baramati has stagnated since Supriya took control. In 2019, DFad Govt established Baramati's first Govt Medical College + Hospital, BJP has been laying the groundwork to unseat the great Pawar. BJP's strategy incorporates a lot of long ignored local demands, that's what makes them aggressive.

@shreeramseetharaman she had an extremely tough fight in 2019 and needed help from Prakash Ambedkar to cut into BJP votes. She came down from sweeping in the previous 2 elections to coming within 100,000 votes. Close margins. To me Baramati is a toss up and not as secure as it used to be. PRS, no one even know what that is.
