  1. Sardar Sarovar is a big FU to pseudo-environmenralists. While it should be celebrated for the defeat of fake environmental concerns, we should also highlight the default of bond payments of Sarovar Nigam limited. The withdrawal of World Bank funding, auditing and monitoring was left to Govt of Gujarat and GoI - they just stopped paying their bond payments after the finished construction and both GoI and Gujarat pocketed the bond payments.
