The lynching is unfortunate but understandable. The attempts at desecration at the Golden temple is condemnable. It is concerning that people don't trust the police enough to investigate it. But Sidhu's rheoteric is dangerous, we must always condemn politicians who demand a hanging before a trial or demand a public hanging for sacrilege.

Blaming society for the failure of governance will not solve the issue, on the other hand is inhumane. Lynching is a strong sign that society has no faith in the law and order apparatus and more importantly the Judiciary

@KunalKMehta08 it is understandable. Lynching occurred because society has very little trust in law enforcement and the Judiciary. Lynching is a sign that the Government mechanisms (and particularly the Judiciary) has failed in it's most basic functions of law and order. It is not a result of increased so called "Talibanization". This loss of faith is remarkably relatable. Ask yourself honestly, do you expect the courts to handle any case in a time bound manner?

@Crysizz it's not support. Lynching is a sign that the Justice system has failed in it's basic function.
