Strategic timeout is a nice way to mask the lack of political acumen shown by Rahul Gandhi. Eg: Veer Savarkar is considered a son of Maharastra. There are streets, schools, parks and chowks with his Statue named after him. Yet Rahul Gandhi choose to throw jibes at him, putting his Ally Uddhav Sena in an uncomfortable position. Throwing jibes at Savarkar in Maharashtra is like throwing jibes at Bhagat Singh in Punjab. He still hold public attention centre of the Congress party. This alone might bring things down further.

@susmithast a stupid politician takes a stand on every issue. A good politician takes a stand on relevant issues. It takes character to take a stand on relevant issues. Character helps you distinguish which issue is relevant. So ya, Raga did take a stand but it doesn't reflect well on his character.
