  1. Every student in India knows a classmate that has attempted or committed suicides. Roughly, 2 students commits suicide every hour. Let the gravity of that stat sink in. Student suicides are consistently ignored by mainstream media.

  4.  @jkardez4794  before Modi sarkar, every Govt would announce a policy with no detail, policy white paper or consultation period. This Govt made the consultation period mandatory, established NITI to publish policy white papers and finally you can read up Govt policies with all it's boring details WITHOUT AN RTI. Though the implementation is a bit patchy (eg: comment periods are inconsistently applied and can range from 2 weeks to 3 months depending on the department) but it's be a solid first step towards transparency. You clearly don't know how the Govt used to function and the Govt currently functions. So pretty much what you say is nonsense.
