  1. Meru became editor of Hind Pocket books when Penguin acquired it. They used to have reprints of KM Munshi's works. They stopped that under her. Vir, of course, was at the right place at the right time, born to the right family. His dad was a famous lawyer at Lutyens, got him in contact with Rajiv Gandhi and he became Doordarshan's youngest journalists at the age of 19. Must have been quite a privilege.
