Here's the thing about our courts - they have the right for judicial review. Judges always have the choice to squash a particular charge sheet as unconstitutional or violating habeus corpus. Their reluctance to exercise that option says a lot of about the State of Fundamental rights than any act of Parliament.

And that's how Sedition Act is interpreted by an Indian policeman. Expressing a grievance about bad laws is not the same as being spiteful and vengeful.
