I'm too deep into Ancient Indian History but this breach of the dam incident reminds me of Dasarajna war from Rigveda. During the Dasarajna war, Sudas of the Bharatas breached a dyke to drown his enemies on advice of Vashishta. It is probably the oldest recorded battle that used dam/dyke breaching to gain an edge over the enemy.

@mandarinandthetenrings2201 It's great for Indian Farmers and Indian Economy. Middle East didn't collapse last year when things were more severe, it won't collapse this year when things are less severe (especially given that supply chains have adjusted to the realities of the Conflict).

@akashbenny5397 not necessarily. Dasarajna war is historical in the same manner in which Troy is in relation to illiad. Both describe real events though with embellishments. Besides it’s estimated to have occurred around 1500 to 1300 BCE around Kurukshetra
