Well there could have been plenty of reasons that I could make on the spot, like better controls due to strong winds, or better visuals and orientation at that altitude. But you can still technically classify it as pilot error. But why it all happend in the first place, wasn't because of that error. But apparently because they identified the wrong plane. So that should be the focus, to make sure pilots identify correct planes somehow, as if they saw that plane they obviously wouldn't have collided with it.

By the latest reports they produced them themselves. It was just a decoy firm.

It's simple, they spread the info that phones were trackable and pagers were not. Convinced the higher ups. And struck a deal with them for some cheap pagers.

It said that it's literally close to Pentagon and capitol. So I'd imagine such important places usually get lots of flight activity constantly for different security reasons and others etc.

It was said that they'd identified the wrong aircraft. So the pilot was looking in the wrong direction.

Latest info tells us that that firm didn't actually exist, it was just a decoy. They were produced in I. and had traveled around the world only on papers.

It's 'merica. I've seen too much of those videos to understand that it's normal in 'merica. Things like that i. e. wining it and not caring much happen all the time. In their defense it is a stressful job with too much constant pressure and concentration, so that strains them and they start giving less f. about their job.

Same but I dont agree that it's bad a. it's mostly funded by USA, and it stole some technologies and engineers. And it did some things with it's unlimited resources, but nothing really that would be too impressive. I'd say the US military which is behind all of this is bad a. It obviously was involved in this particular instance too.
