That's the main question I have as well, people just write it off, "oh it just disappeared" but to me it is the most interesting part. How does it disappear? Does it gets eaten up slowly? atom by atom? and what happens if you pull it out mid way? does it fully disappear all at once? at some random point? also what about the air? shouldn't it create a vortex? also how does he send guinea pigs ? with his hand? making his hand disappear for a second? or on a special plate? what does he hold his plate with? or does he just yeets throws it into the whole? etc. Those are the actual questions I would ask since it would explain alot and that's where his story would fall apart...

You should donate those fossils to a museum, or at least sell them

The story is fully made up, but it can still be inspirational.

@jackkohnjj What kind of confirmation bias is that? you don't believe that the earth poles shift? ... then what is the next logical step that would happen when they do?

@nightcorehamster We don't know how many avalanches there were, but it definitely was an avalanche, and a sudden change in the wind ( and temperature). You can look it up , there's a photo of them setting up the tent. It's a few feet deep in the snow, which after it had lost it's structure and being on a slope an avalanche came, which they had to get out of, hence why the tent was cut out from the inside. After that happened there were no good decisions left. But they tried to get to the bottom and light up a fire. Their mistake was to set up their tent there for the night, which was written in the diary. They thought they could get over the mountain in one hike, but changed their plans mid hike...

Great episode, but that story is as fake as it could be...

It called knowing everything about you, and extrapolating your thoughts. There's nothing special about it, and it's not hard.

Yep, unfortunately those "wild" guesses and theories arise purely on the basis of hype and making money, they are so disingenuous. And it takes away from the actual tragedy that had happened there, which was summarized in this video. Be cautious of nature. and do not set up your tent on a mountain slope digging inside the snow several feet deep. If the snow loses structure, you will get buried in it, and there's no back up plan at this point. Digging yourself out of snow in the middle of the night, while being bruised and cold...
