  2. Russians did not claim to be doing any advances now, it's the Ukraine that had claimed a start of an offensive over 2 months ago. Russia can make advances just like it did in the beginning of SMO, but doesn't want to to do it rn (grinding away Ukr. meat is more beneficial at this point).

  3. It's not a question of the amount of forces per se. People forget that it's not all about just forces. As if it's a war of attrition, then as soon as the west pulls out of it (Ukraine is almost 100% exist because of the western support), then the war will end almost immediately. So it's not a question of grinding away all of the Ukr. forces by Russia, but rather grinding away the most thick headed nazi ukros and the rest will be denazified automatically, when Russia strikes a deal with the west to pull out of ukr.
