  1. As a Russian, I would like to say thank you for doing such a great work. I might be biased but the Russian history is the most complex and interesting one , yet it is definitely under represented and even mis represented most of the times in the western culture. Thanks for doing such a great work, much appreciated👍

  2.  @lahire4943  I don't think it doomed the great army, but burning def. played a huge role. Even if Moscow wasn't burned, he was basically trapped inside it. Mind you it hindered the Russian economy, but he didn't have strength to go to St. Petersburg (capital of Russia) no more, so perhaps he would have found more provision and would have stayed a little bit longer... for several months, but in the end Russia still had a huge army waiting ti give the last battle if necessary, but didn't require to do so partly because of burning the Moscow... it was a brilliant move , but wasn't what decided the outcome . The Napoleon was doomed from the start, after the Borodino battle.

  3.  @mttokrnk  because everything that is being said is a western narrative. i. e. like you call president Putin "a thug" his presidency "a regime" etc etc. The complete opposite of reality. Taking everything apart would take too much time and after you've done it, they would either remove your opinion, or nobody will be bothered to read it anyway. That's how it works. Some basic facts, it wasn't "Chechens" vs Russians, there are many "Chechens" who were liberating Grozny along side with the Russian Federal forces. etc. ... They are trying to present it as a fight "Russians vs Chechens" which it was not (in reality it was called "Ichkerian republic"). It was "Russians with Chechens vs terrorists and Vahabits of the Ichkerian republic".
