I just love how he says 0:33 : " ... has potential to influence the performance in a major... potentially positive direction ." :D Absolutely love you guys!

Changing your motherboard every 2 generations for intel CPUs is absolutely ridiculous. Thank god for AMD . AMD FTW. Great video.

Dude the quality of homework getting better day by day. How can you not save it on your computer when it's just that good? What if your internet breaks down. How will you be able to do your homework?

Steve , you are really cool! Thanks for a new video :D

- How much you want to get paid, Steve? -More than three fiddy

I am a simple man. Like first , watch Steves video later. Keep up the great work !

If you had bought a i7-965 in Nov of 2008 (4c/8t - 3.2 Ghz CPU)... It would still been viable today. 12 years later... The performance has only risen 2x for comparising GPU performance has risen like x20 ( at least 10 times more than CPU performance).

@MarineRX179 I feel like it will stay , it just needs an improvement, or it needs to be done not by Ngreedia. I still can't forget the nausea I got for the first time in my life playing a game "Control" with the way RTX and DLSS works it gives you a very strange nauseating haze( which is more prominent with lower fps). If this problem get's solved then It might become a way to go for better visuals in games, as long as it's not done by Ngreedia...

God , how I love this guy. Steve is 👌 the best tech reviewer I've always wanted... Keep up the good work.

@Drex2580 Have you thought of people who have early work in the morning . Like bakers or others. They literally wake up at 3 am. Besides the world doesn't revolve around America. I would rather die than to live in the US. It's perfect time for me actually 9pm. So it doesn't matter when they post the video. There will always be people to watch it. So bugger off , mate.

@ZeroKOR1 are there any official results or benches? did it actually match 9900k performance? Source?

17:15 That smirk is priceless. 350 Watts ... idle ... is kind of like alot...

Hey Steve, I understand that it's not easy and it takes time. But could you consider doing benchmarks for 4k gaming in your tests please? That would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

@adeadlyfart13 US life style? what do you mean by that? US is definitely not part of the cool kids club, not even close, don't be dreaming mate.
2
@glenwaldrop8166 That amount of cache will basically allow you to run a full game like the original Half Life or CS 1.6, from 20 years ago, entirely on a CPU chip .
2
@DunhaCC I was talking about buying a consumer PC in 2008. And not upgrading it (excpet for video card) until today. Makes no sense buying 930 or 965 or even x5675 ( year 2011) today. You can buy a better and cheaper CPU today.

I am not first and I don't care. Great video. So excited to watch it :) .

@jt thorsson no you are very consequential. ps. I don't think I've ever heart those 2 words together like that... That's a pretty cool saying tbh...
1
@jt thorsson You didn't and I perfectly understood what you were trying to say. I'm just saying that for any native English speaking person those two words together are unheard of . In fact you've said that it's a German saying , but in fact I know that saying in Russian " ты последовательный человек" which means exactly the same thing. Just for any native speaking person it stands out and gives you away because it's not something a native English speaking person would say, or perhaps has ever said... And as I've said before I've never heard it in English, but it is quite a common saying in Russian and apparently German.

@Earnest_walkins I've sold my RTX 2080 and bought a 1080 Ti long time ago. Couldn't be happier with it and waiting for the next gen now. I wish I would have bought a 1080 Ti at launch , would be the best GPU purchase of my life.

Dude I literally learned that stuff in high school ... Like wtf ? How is this possible that intel marketing team is so bad? Did they not go to school? Or Uni? Like how incompetent can you be... This stuff is more puzzling to me than the great pyramids...

To summarize , nothing impressive. Same performance as their current top end Iris iGPUs... It's about 2x performance of their current mainstream iGPUs UHD630 on i9-9900k or i3-8100. Basically they just put their current top iGPU on a PCI card... Our only hope as gamers basically lies on AMDs shoulders, they are the only ones that have a potential to end Nvidias monopoly, and bring GPU prices down.(top end 2080 and up) #prayforAMD

Are there any news on 480hz monitors? Thanks

Great video. Was waiting for a new bios in the anticipation of a 9900KS for a few months now. It's finally up for Gigabyte (with a new structure update). Neat. Also I like the fact that you have a XFX GT 7800 in the background, what a beauty.

This is going to be nice lit.
1
I agree it is outright offensive. 3080 Ti should cost half the price at $600 And you can charge a premium for 3090 for $1k idc. but $1.2k for 3080 Ti is pure madness...
1
Yeah, those category definitions like "Best enthusiast GPU" needs to be improved. Otherwise great video. Fun to watch either way. But definitely room for improvement.
1
DLSS is an impressive stretching technology. I hate when shills overhype things. Native is still better ,yet fps boost is nice. It's either DLSS quality for more fps or Native res for better visuals for me.
1
Great video. 16:16 Exactly what I've experienced in Control .And some people not getting it for some reason... The kind of ghosting I've never seen before and that gives me nausea if played at low fps... I used to be able to play games at 10 fps 20 years ago (Gothic 1) . But with new rendering techniques ,for the first time in my life ,DLSS and RTX makes games physically unplayable for me at low fps due to haloing and ghosting effects... Need at least 60 now , to not get nausea.
1
Great video. Completely agree with your conclusion. 2080 ti is a reasonable purchase if you have lots of money. (Not worth going for anything higher). Also, not worth upgrading from 1080 ti. If you have a 1080 ti (or Titan V) it's not worth upgrading and instead should wait for a 3080 ti.
1
Interestingly enough I picked C option ... And it was native 4k... Which proves that native is better than DLSS...
