@stevenroshni1228 As someone has already pointed it out to you. First thing is that people panic... second thing going away from the flames seems rational. In all honesty going towards the flames seem like a suicide, because if the flames get bigger you might get engulfed in flames and be burned alive. while going upwards actually seems somewhat rational if only there was enough air to breath. Not everyone realizes that fire basically eats up all of the air in tunnels and confined spaces, but in theory, if there was enough air then you would be fine. Also one more thing...

Yeah fire and deadly smoke spreads too quickly. Unfortunately people don't realize that . Almost all of the deaths in a fire are from suffocating.

It is basically a disaster waiting to happen. Even more concerning is that there are many complex electronics in that car that could potentially go wrong.
