  1. I am not surprised. As this is the most fortified area by Ukraine on Donbass. They have been preparing for the storm of Avdeevka since 2014 for almost 10 years as the front at Avdeevka hasn't moved for 10 years. It will be hard for Russia to take it...

  2.  @rainieresguerra-uw7on  I think you've confused it with Ukr. army and NATO mercenaries, which can't even reach the first line of defense 2 months into their supposedly "counter offensive".

  3. Yes, with regards to Oryx it has been confirmed many times of many duplicates and certain tanks accounted as Russian tanks while they were actually Ukranian. But yeah it's still the best actual source to reference to, with regards to keeping track with the losses.

  5.  @the_forbinproject2777  It's not possible to do a 100% correct figure set. Only an estimation. Oryx gives a total of around 11k of the Russian vehicles of different types being destroyed (some of them being either wrong or questionable at least). And I believe the correct number would be closer to the half of it. So the correct figure would be between 5k and 11k vehicles of different types . And in comprising Russia has a total of around 200k military vehicles ( of different types @ land/sea/air), so destroying a few % of it is entirely possible.

  8.  @lukaswatts8422  Why don't you just go and check it yourself though? is it that hard for you to do? Most of the tanks aren't even identifiable , and we just have to believe it based on the alleged original report of it... which in alot of cases, those reports come directly from the Ukranian MOD or Ukraine affiliated reporters which is obviously entirely biased towards exaggerating Russian losses. Just take a look yourself at the evidence to understand on the Oryx website what I'm talking about. But besides that there were already a couple of podcasts with the Russian soldiers that took part in the SMO , one of the recent ones were with a Ka 52 heli pilot, which again , had confirmed that there's alot of misinformation of the losses on that website, as for example one of the "destroyed" helicopters in reality was damaged and not destroyed and they ended up recovering and restoring it and the pilot ( him) is totally fine and he continues doing his job. Basically he said that there's some truth to it, but actual numbers are exaggerated.

  9.  @jahmive  I don't really have any sources either. But based on all of the videos online, it is clear that there weren't all 25k thousand troops there. 5k troops seems about fine and possible. But according to the videos, there were hundreds that you could spot. Just by doing some basic maths that a column of 25k troops would have been around 25 kilometers , there's nothing like that that you could find in the videos online.

  12.  @earth9531  to my knowledge there were only 2 flying vehicles with casualties one is Ka 52 with 2 pilots and one was Il 18 plane with 10 souls lost ,which Prigozhin has commented and said that it was an accident and already donated 5 million rubles to each of the family members for their loss. And the rest of the shot down helicopters had no casualties. So it really indeed looks like an accident . As they didn't have intention of killing anyone , but to ground those helicopters that were flying over their heads. And if not for the plane, there would only be 2 casualties.
