  2.  @kartikeyatiwari2502  it still doesn't explain the fact that he was openly criticizing Zelensky regime in Ukraine. Even if he thought that Kharkov would get liberated. He would be the first person they would torture and get rid of, before the eventual liberation. The more smart thing would be is just documenting everything and when the Russians come to start writing his memoirs about what he was witnessing and his opinions, he would be safe only on the Russian soil. Him being open like that is just like living in a Nazi Germany in the 1941 and criticizing Hitlers gassing the Jay-Jays... you ain't gonna go far with that, and it's not smart waiting for the Russians to arrive in 1941 in Berlin... just some common sense.
