Even before the SMO, Ukraine was losing it's population regardless, in the 1993 Ukraine had 52 mil. people at it's peek, before the beginning of the SMO ( by different estimations 32 to 37 mil people), and right now it has ~ 22 mil people. 30 million people population decline in 30 years. with the remaining ~22 will tell you that Ukraine can only last 20 - 30 years at best, then it will simply run out of the population.

  2.  @Nun195  Russian population didn't change (grew a little with new territories). Started out at around 148 mil, with it's lowest being 142 mil, and now it's ~ 156 mil. but is expected to decline a little in a few years. So ~150 mil the whole way or thereabouts.
