  1. It's not possible to just "abandon the post" someone approved it and more likely told them to leave in the first place. Only when you get an approval or get directed from a higher authority, you can leave. It's impossible to do otherwise.

  4. Good catch. And another important thing was that she said. She HASN'T visited the site in 9 days. I honestly don't understand how this is even possible. Outside of general curiosity, caring for her job, or trying to cover it up... isn't it part of her responsibility to assess the d. thing on site? The fact that she didn't visit the site tells everything you need to know... She didn't visit it because she obviously already knew what happened. And she was just thinking of excuses that whole time. There was no genuine interest to investigate it properly from her.
