  3. Great to know! I had a swelling in my thyroid that I felt was due to an infection. Medical people here in California didn't agree and ran all kinds of expensive tests and told me I had hyper-thyroidism, gave me medicine basically meant to kill my thyroid. I was also diagnosed with a bladder infection and given antibiotics. After 2 weeks, my symptoms were gone, so I stopped their nasty meds to see how things were going and.. nothing happened. It WAS an infection and the antibiotics for the bladder also cured the thyroid. But now, I have a $5000 bill I can't pay for all their fancy tests they did, when all I needed was an antibiotic. :( I'm a Canadian stuck in the US since the BS started in 2020, no health insurance, surviving on $800 USD a month. What do I do?? O.o
