@oscar00327 Todd Lammles CCNA book with ITProTVs video courses and then for labs I am doing packet tracer. I am about to buy the Boson practice exams as I hear they are second to none.

@dys0594 they dont pay at all because these jobs all require a clearance. You won't be able to see confidential government material without one and they're very invasive. I have a secret and the details they go into are intense. Theyll be talking to your neighbors and pretty much everyone you ever knew for the last 7 years.

Put down your electronics and get to studying. You'll feel much better for it later

Perfect timing for me. Just setup my pfsense as well as pihole. Looking forward to the series as I am pretty solid with windows CLI and am wanting to learn Bash as well.

I thought I had it down with the classes A,B, and C. My confidence was high and all and then..... CIDR....

Each shop would get the /26 notation since you need 40 per shop, and that gives 64 per block since /27 is only 32 per block. Shop A gets x.x.x.1 - x.x.x.62. Shop B gets x.x.x.65 - 126 and shop C gets x.x.x.129- x.x.x.190. Cidr is /26 for all. Edit: I was off by one for each after I checked again. Also I added the X for the IP because it was hyperlinking. Edit 2: I watched the video and for clarity, my ranges are the usable hosts. For example Chucks adds x.x.x.63 as a part of the range but I didnt because that's the broadcast address for that block.
