  9.  @jaay816  20 years ago we didnt even have touch screen phones and people used pagers still. The growth in tech is exponential and once we give AI enough tools, it will find conscious itself. It definitely wont be in year 3000. We will probably see this in our lifetime.

Evolution is natural. Creating sentience that kills us is the exact opposite of logical. If we cared about self preservation like all other species, we wouldn't be here.

  20. Your justification for gen ed is its a buffer between the difficult classes and that is a "saviour" for those who want to be full time for financial aid? Those are both, in the literal sense, the definition of filler and are poor excuses. You wouldn't need to test out of them if they didnt exist and you can network with other's without taking them. They're filler and are a way for institutions to suck the students dry.

Yea of course that's bullshit. However, at some point theres a line of skepticism that becomes dangerous and irrational. Usually those people end up believing in a flat earth and fake birds.

Ive seen multiple people questioning why they dislike Sam or what he said in the past and its all been met with silence or "You just dont know". Its pathetic.
