  1. He probably did expect that. He did say everything repeats via "eternal return" and this deistic self is modern but it isn't new. Also he would mostly be overjoyed at the new god being the self as he was an egoist.

  2. I love that her favorite line is "truth is a woman" and that it's all about lying. I love Nietzsche and relevance is a factor but damn he was sexist as hell.
