  1. Your justification for gen ed is its a buffer between the difficult classes and that is a "saviour" for those who want to be full time for financial aid? Those are both, in the literal sense, the definition of filler and are poor excuses. You wouldn't need to test out of them if they didnt exist and you can network with other's without taking them. They're filler and are a way for institutions to suck the students dry.
