@hardness247 No a hang clean is not a deadlift... With a hang clean you START with the bar in your hands in a standing position. The rep starts with the bar "hanging" above the ground while standing with it. The deadlift part starts in a full clean. The fact that you don't know this difference proves you have no clue what you are talking about.

@henryjw15 considering football plays are only a few seconds long each, why would they lift for endurance? Endurance sports are soccer, hockey, basketball, wrestling, etc. You got it backwards. Football is an explosive purely anaerobic sport where sprinting and driving through an opponent is key.
