MMA has the most short sighted and casual fans I have ever seen. Stipe not being talked about or people wanting Brock vs DC is ridiculous. Like Joe says, DC mauls Lesnar but the casuals want to see superstars like Mctapper and Lesnar instead of the best matchups.

@larry3d4Gudatnation I understand that they are both respectable athletes and deserve some stardom. Mcgregor more so than Lesnar since he was double champ. I am not taking that from them. The issue is with the fans. Great fighters like Stipe are overlooked because of Lesnar. Ranks mean nothing anymore. As someone who wants to see the 2 best fight each other in each weight class this is an issue. Conor never has a chance against Khabib and Lesnar would never beat DC.

Outside of Stipe and DC the Heavyweight Division is trash. Ngannou can only test himself against those two. We will see cause he will get the next shot.

Xftbllplyr If you are speaking on Merit then Stipe is the next man up. If not next then a rematch between Ngannou and Stipe would've made sense. Also Brock didn't have the best in front of him either tbh. He took the belt from a 40 year old LHW legend in Couture and beat Herring and Carwin. Once he faced a true contender (Cain) he got his ass whooped. Mir isnt exactly a great HW either. If Lesnar was in his prime now and in this division he would be 3rd best behind DC and Stipe.
