Patriotism/nationalsm is the idea of putting the nation and its people first elevating them beyond anything else. Their well being,security and influence is of biggest imporance.
A common foolish but understandable mistake of people not familiar with politics is depicting the nationalism as something evil and very diffrent fron patriotism while in reality its not at all.
1 Nationalism is a wide teem that can encompass many ideologies some more hardline others more liberal, it is also only one ingridient that has been twisted for some if the ,,forbiden ideologies" unfortunatly becaue of thay people look on it as something realy bad it has become realy the boogyman of politics
2 Most people when asked if they are patriots will say yes but if i ask them what patriots do they will say love their country, thats realy a vague and basic responce which is not enough to explaim what patriots realy do and here comes nationalism. From that patriotism was born the idea of self determination and esuring the sovereignty if the state and the protection of its people and culture. By patriotism was taken as an idea and them realy defiened and formed as political idelogy thus becoming nationalism. Its the driving force to which many countries got their independence and fought for their freedom.
One example of nationalism is hungary and the party if victor orban who has protected the hungarian people and has mde the choices to ensure the pleasant position of his country. The idea of pride in ones self and nation crucial to the sovereignty of a nation has been proven to be very popular there as orban won he elections with more than 2/3 majority against a puppet, eu funded coalition of 6 parties. People dont want liberal sh*t, sh*t preacged by the eu and by the liberal opposition of putin. Its not said for nothing that fascism will come in the form of liberalism

Ahh yes they aee out of touch thats what those people who burned buildings in riots in america were saying but ok. I am 18 and i am disapointed by the idiotic behaviour of my generation like roman here is prime example, complin about evsrything, doesnt do sh*t, wants everything to be perfect for him, to be spoonfed, want some ideas and has ideals that not a lot of people will agree with, has validation and approvel problem, has no patriotism, very black and white view, doesnt trust his hoke country but trusts foreign ones. If he had just douted for one sec atleast one thing, one bit of info comming from a foreigner he would change his view massively.
