@Darkness8536 He approved $4.5 trillion for what? What bill was it, and do you have a link to the roll call vote?

Paul is in agreement with Trump. This video was just an unjustified character assassination. Paul isn't saying that charity is bad -- if any of you imbeciles knew anything, you'd know that he spends his free time personally providing advanced medical care to indigent patients for free -- he is saying that printing up infinite money for all the bloat of government is a systemic problem that will lead to a total collapse. This is a replay of the fall of Rome: to pay for an ever expanding global military presence and provide bread and circuses, they debased their currency and inflated away the value of their money. That is what he is criticizing.

Very disingenuous and superficial analysis. The Keynesian monetary system of public debt slavery is allowing the government special interests to plunder the wealth of this nation: they saddle us and our families with debt to enrich their cronies -- they socialize losses costs but privatize gains and benefits. The $600 stimulus accounted for less than $200 billion of the $2.3 trillion bill -- that is less than 10% of the bill. Out of the $0 net worth of the federal government, they found plenty of money for their special interests, pet projects, and foreign countries, and yet almost nothing for American citizens and tax payers. They are taking our labor and money in advance and saying we can have a small amount of it, but we will have to pay it back with interest. Paul's complaints are about the systemic rot in Congress and their attempt to apply little bandaids to paper over the problems they have created. Your characterization of him as hating poor people is retarded and unfounded -- he literally spends his holidays personally providing free advanced medical support to indigent patients, and I doubt any of y'all do anything halfway as substantive and charitable.

He was saying that you lose your soul through the deceit that is federal debt monetization. It is an end-run around the constitution. The federal government is not constitutionally allowed to print currency. Y'all clearly have no idea what you're talking about when it comes to monetary policy. The only reason that the hyperbolic expansion of the money supply has not yet led to runaway inflation is that the dollar is used as a global reserve currency -- over half of all global trade is conducted in dollars. European countries trade with South American countries in USD. As a consequence of the economic quagmire of the debt burden and the lockdowns, monetary velocity has substantially decreased -- we have been exporting our inflation to the rest of the world through trade deficits, hollowing out our economy in the process. What we know from history is that every global reserve currency eventually falls out of favor, and with the dedollarization trend picking up steam, that time will soon come for the dollar, and all those tens of trillions we have printed will return to America to chase the few goods and services that remain. We are also very close to global systemic banking collapse due to the shipping container shortage and other supply chain disruptions. Throwing caution to the wind is a terrible idea. Rand Paul is not against charity or the less than $200 billion that was appropriated for stimulus checks. He is against reckless fiscal and monetary policy represented by the $2.1 trillion in non-stimulus bloat. The stimulus is just a red herring to distract the public from the systemic problems of federal government disfunction.
