  4.  @MathewRenfro  5th generational warfare is not an exact system with guaranteed, deterministic outcomes. At best, the effects are probabilistic, and the models and strategies must change over time because people do. Maybe the Chicoms could take California, but that state has been a shithole for so long that most of the rest of us want it gone anyway -- it wouldn't exactly be a victory of propaganda as much as a resuscitation of a terminally ill state.

  5. This analysis simplifies the vast diversity in ancient pagan practices into one system, and it seems focused upon the traditions and perspectives of the elite class. The commoners in most pagan/heathen cultures were focused on communing with local spirits and venerating ancestors; the elites, with their grandiose ideas of political/military expansion, were often focused on appeasing or gaining favor of the gods and mythical heroes. Elites were more literate than the commoners, so a naive review of pagan lore will show primarily the elites' religion; the religion of the commoners has to be deciphered primarily from archaeological evidence and obscure manuscripts.

  6. There are still plenty of churches that fulfill that prime directive. When I was a kid, the church my family went to funded missionaries and underground Christian networks in SE Asia, where the stakes are still very high.
