  1. The petrodollar system has outlived its usefulness to even the elites, whose cantillionaire lifestyles are under threat by Bitcoin. The difference this time is that Bitcoin has no borders to bomb, so the petrodollar cannot be propped up by military might any longer. Things will be really awful for the subjects of the empire during its decline, but we'll be a better species on the other side.
