First-past-the-post/plurality voting is the worst electoral method we could use and gives too much power to the plutocrats. Instead of a system that devolves to corrupted two-party rule, where we have to "vote for the lesser of two evils" or "throw away a vote" on a third party candidate, we should use score voting, which the bees have been using for tens of millions of years for selecting hive location. Our electoral system ought to build a strong consensus rather than a perpetually divided and corrupt political class.
