  1.  @ObviousRises  there is substantial evidence of experience beyond simple biological life. Meditate long enough and you'll encounter some of it. Determinism is empirically false; chaos rules supreme. Causality is just a statistical likelihood providing the illusion of determinism. The purpose of a simulation is that you don't know outcome ahead of time and want to see how a set of pseudo-deterministic rules interacts with the chaos to arrive at statistically calculated odds.
