  1. I don't like the hysterical scaremongering. Everyone who has lived through a natural disaster or two knows about preparedness (which is most people in my state because of hurricanes). Having a modest supply for emergency situations is sensible regardless of the specific rationale. And Russia has bluffed that they'll use nukes constantly, and all the "red line" talk has been unserious bluster. Putin has no interest in ruling a nuclear wasteland or being taken out in retaliation by the entire world's combined militaries and intelligence agencies. This is obviously bullshit.
