  1. Options market was poised for a gamma squeeze to the upside, so I closed some short positions and prepared to reopen them after a brief bear trap rally. Seemed to be pretty good timing.

  2. An important thing to note is that when the House flips during a midterm election to the opposite party of the Presidency, that is followed by a rally more often than if it flips to the party of the Presidency or if it does not flip at all. Markets like status quo.
