Those guys looked very good for 60, but it's not inconceivable. More relevantly, the Kyiv regime appears to be somewhat beholden to neo-Nazis, so it is conceivable they were allowed or encouraged to leave because they were not of the acceptable race - from what I've gathered, there have been actual pogroms there over the past decade.
