  2. The M1 series is a broken series where the definition changes in May 2020 (when savings deposits were moved from M2 to M1), so it is utterly useless as a metric for time based comparisons. M2 definition remains unchanged and can be used for making comparisons. With the perspective provided by Bitcoin, it is pretty ridiculous that the money supply has to be measured and estimated rather than being provable.

  3. Other than the few things I nitpick, these presentations are pretty good. The main issue is that the financial system is convoluted and resistant to being understood -- almost everyone who says "I get it, this is the answer" finds his/her thesis proven wrong by the markets, e.g. Peter Schiff and Steven van Metre.
