  1. M2 velocity has been dropping for decades. Our currency system has too many structural defects to solve with infinite QE. All that is necessary for price inflation is for an increased scarcity of real resources to cause the velocity to increase -- in the Weimar Republic, no amount of printed money was ever enough because real resources dried up -- a country cannot print for itself a real economy. The grand solar minimum has already begun wiping out crops across the world; covid-1984 has disrupted supply chains; and the draconian lockdowns have created a dearth of services. We are on the simultaneous brinks of a currency/sovereign debt crisis, a civil war, and a world war. Prepare your brokerage accounts for Fed manipulation, sure, but do not discount the possibility of total societal collapse, at which point maybe you'd rather have a year supply of food, gardening tools, and a gun instead of stocks and ETFs. I'll hodl my stocks in case the world doesn't end, but only because I'm pretty much ready to rebuild society from the ashes.
