  1. Oracular visions, dreams, and premonitions do occur. The evidence from noetic research (and my own experience) is that the levels of precision and accuracy are inversely proportionate to the temporal delay between the vision and the event. Practice of the mantic arts attempts to hone this inate ability, but the best result that I'm aware of was a remote viewing experiment in which the remote viewers predicted whether or not a trader would have a good week trading futures by viewing a weekly gift exchange where champagne represented success. The universe seems to not mind if we get just enough of a glimpse to recognize future events, but it seems unwilling to allow useful future information to be pulled into the present. Quantum mechanical experiments, especially the delayed choice quantum eraser, bear this out.
