  1. You got value and price backwards: value is subjective, and price is objective. The price for a cleared transaction is objective and visible for all to witness, but the values the transactors placed on the items is intangible and invisible.

The problem with the religious tendencies of man is that they can be exploited easily: the communists did it, the Christian empires did it, the Muslim caliphates do it, various cults do it, etc. Very few are willing to struggle towards truth alone because it is a terrifying process, so they get led astray and used by psychic parasites.
