@MrDosonhai I'm pretty sure you missed the point entirely: by choosing an outlier as your sample, you show an inaccurate representation of the population. Were USSR watches good quality? If you just look at the good ones that are still working, you might conclude that they were. Are American steel tools good quality? If you look only at the ones that are over a hundred years old and still in good condition, you might conclude that they are. This is a pretty simple concept to grasp.
