  4. I'll be happy to have DeSantis as POTUS some day, but I really don't want him to run in 2024 -- he's the best governor we've had in this state my whole life. I don't know a single Floridian who does not support him at this point because he has really walked the walk.

  5. Actually, Trump just said in an interview that he made the decision himself before getting recommendations from others. Because why would his own administration and press secretary agree with him, right? Clearly they are all correct.

  10. You do realize that several members of his campaign staff have been confirmed to have had financial ties to Russian agents, right? For example, the former head of his campaign, Paul Manafort, took millions of dollars to advance Putin's interests in America. If this was really just about the mishandling of the Clinton investigation, Comey would have been fired long before testifying in Congress that he was investigating ties between Russian agents and Trump. This is a constitutional crisis in development.

  13. Here in Florida, we had just 1 evening of rioting in Miami, and they were all caught and prosecuted for arson. They managed to burn just a few cars before being caught. And that is the extent of the summer 2020 civil unrest that we experienced here -- there were peaceful protests/marches/vigils for Floyd, but they were not successfully subverted by the inciters.

  14.  @mikestephens5200  Trump talked out both sides of his mouth and contradicted himself constantly. He seemed like he didn't even understand the concept of objective reality at times. It is a little bit different when an administration tries to convince everyone that something we've all known for generations simply isn't so. As I recall, Trump claimed to have popularized the use of the word "fake", but he didn't pay off the media propagandists to try to convince everyone that the definition of "fake" never existed to begin with.
