  1. Ancient heathens used family burial mounds, and most modern ones similarly believe in returning bodies to the earth in a family cemetery. I wonder what the future asteroid belt-dwelling heathens will do, or if there ever will even be space heathens. (The most zealous ones totally dismiss the idea of leaving Earth as ludicrous specifically because it would cut you off from your ancestors as well as whatever landvaettr your family has befriended.)
