I definitely saw videos of the Hamas attack in which Russians were directing assault squads -- they were giving orders in Russian. Some automatically conclude that Russia helped Hamas carry out the attack to divert US attention away from Ukraine, but I think that the Russians involved were likely soldiers of fortune.
