  2. I have been generally underwhelmed when probing ChatGPT for information. On any technical topic, whether it be correspondent banking, convergent replicated data types, or elliptic curve cryptography, it almost always gets something wrong. If you want an AI with general knowledge, you likely will need a very large vectorized database of factual knowledge that an LLM can query. Importantly, the notion that "we just need to get access to the data" is incorrect: the data exist on the internet, but the current LLMs trained on this data did not integrate it usefully.
